I am so sorry to hear that. Our little one was the same. When I could sit with him in the back I would just stroke his head and talk to him and it helped a little bit... If not, some people say to try to adjust their nappies and make them a bit looser so they are a bit more comfortable. I would also suggest comfortable clothes or just checking if her car seat is correct (newborn insert etc.) She might just be uncomfortable. I noticed that if my little one is overtired he will scream and cry too. So make sure you time the journey with their sleep/wake. We also put some toys on the handle of the car seat so he could focus on them and also gave him a dummy which really did the trick. Good luck! It will get better. Our little one is 8 weeks now and sometimes will do 15-20 minutes journey without a problem where previously we wouldn't last 2 minutes. I also did 2, 1.45h journeys with him recently on my own and it went well ( had to stop a few times to comfort/feed him) but it wasn't too bad. Good luck mama!
Could she be uncomfortable in the seat? Is it adjusted so the straps are coming out from the back of the seat at her shoulder level? Could the straps be pulling or squishing her nappy?
My boy is exactly the same 😩😭 Only seems to settle if I'm driving fast on the motorway... If I have to stop at a traffic light or roundabout it's game over 🤦🏻♀️ I really hope it's something he'll grow out of as I like to get out and about everyday!
