They are great but not all babies like them. The newborn ones are very small so check the weights.
Agree with everyone else get one and see how you go :) my boys were both too big for anything newborn. My first would only sleep in a swaddle for first month and then was too big for them (would wriggle out of them) and my second would only sleep completely unswaddled so all the ones we had were wasted haha :) Also tog will depend on weather at the time. We had a 1 tog with my first but it was so hot when he was born in May that we had to get a 0.5 tog and he had that with a nappy and nothing else
Ah thank you everyone this really helps I think I'll wait until baby is born, I mean the first few days they can just be swaddled in a blanket right?
Yes, the velcro swaddles are cheaper, but my son used to break out of them. We still call him Houdini.
It completely depends on the temp it will be, I had 0.5 and 1 tog for my first in the summer, I would wait to buy bigger sizes though as it took us trying numerous different swaddles before we found one that he liked x
