@Nicole oh I didn’t realise you could use it up until you board! That’s really helpful thank you☺️
We took our normal pram at that age… they look too uncomfortable and small for the strollers, just dropped it at the gate. If you’ve a coach transfer you can’t use a car seat, they need to sit on your lap
I wouldn't bother with a cabin approved stroller, just gate check it, usually when you are checking in they'll put a tag on so you can take it right up to the plane doors and then they'll put it in the hold. Have a baby carrier for the plane and the walk through to baggage claim. Definitely take a car seat, it's not safe to be in a car without one. What vehicles will you be travelling in?
@Emma ah okay I didn’t know you couldn’t use a car seat! Thank you x
@Charley thank you! We will be going on a coach to the hotel but apparently they don’t allow car seats on which I didn’t know x
@Akansha thank you!x
@Millie yeah infants aren’t included in the seat count & seatbelts aren’t designed for car seats anyway so just on your knee…. If you take any short taxi rides they can sit on your knee too as they can here (e.g. getting to the airport) Might seem stressful, but easiest holiday you’ll have… ♥️
@Millie personally I wouldn't travel in a vehicle without a car seat. I would take a private transfer and take the car seat
In regards to the stroller, we took our 8m old to Cyprus last year and got a cheap compact stroller (Kinderkraft Apino £109). It went under the plane BUT you can literally take it right up to the moment you board the plane so it’s really not that bad not having it in the cabin. I used the carrier to get through security on the other side and then just picked the pram up after. Was nice and easy x
