Bath

How are people bathing their 3 month old? We have a small baby bath but she seems to be outgrowing it already🤣 just wondered what else I can transition to now at 3 months old?

We have an angelcare baby bath chair that you set in the tub. It works really well and she seems to like it

If you have a bath, you can buy a bath seat. We only have a shower so I bought this bath https://amzn.eu/d/2AhglXN I really recommend it, although we have it with a seat not the cushion, I cant see these available anymore.

I found this a hard one😂but I got in with my baby as they can lay on your legs and I still bath with him he’s 9 months now and will up until he’s completely confident with sitting in the bath but he’s so long so the baby baths last 2 seconds even the ones that were a little bath tub cause he was just so long and the bath seats aren’t great in my opinion so easiest option to clean them everywhere with ease and comfort is getting in there with them for sure xx

@Justyna this is the same as I already have but we've got it with the cushion so she's laying down and she seems to be outgrowing it nearly, she's a tall girl😅 I suppose I just need to try find a seat that will fit into it? Then I can keep using it xx

@Summer I have been contemplating just getting in the bath with her but I'm just so nervous about it🥲 xx

@Karissa I have heard good things about these! Might need to have a look into getting one! Xx

We used the laundry sink until he was like 18m and then straight showers. Because hubby was the one that bathed him, and he hated bending over the big tub and hurting his back, the laundry sink he can stand up hip level and not hurt his back

I would use a seat until she can sit up herself and then remove the seat and sit her up. My daughter is 6.5 months and she still fits in the seat 😊

We used the angelcare seat in our normal bath from birth with no issues. As soon as he could sit unaided we got rid of the seat and he was just straight in the tub with a non slip mat.

If you have someone that can sit with you and help you for the first couple times just so help you get use to it and just make sure the water isn’t very high and when she sits up eventually just have her in between your legs and nothing can go wrong that way it’s less daunting once you do it a few times! The idea is a lot more scary than it actually is xx

You can get these big sponge things that the baby can lay on in the bath

We have used the snuggle bath with stand since birth and baby still fits at 6 months

My girl did the same so I’d get in with her until she could fully sit up unsupported then I got a mat for her to sit on so she wouldn’t slip

I get in the bath with my 14 week old, it means I can splash around with him, draw his attention to the toys (only a couple of floaty rattles) and it keeps him calmer when I'm washing him. He absolutely hated the baby bath as soon as I started washing him! He just seemed to freak out! But bathing with him is literally my favourite times of the week!
