Are they showing any signs that they’re ready? I felt exactly the same, until I eventually stayed at home with her constantly for 4 days with no nappy, and she caught on quite quickly

what do u do when they wet themselves and wee in floor carpet ?? i wanted to start my little boy this morning but he just kept saying no when i told him nappy off

Get yourself the book “oh crap potty training”. When you get through all the waffle and get to the main bit it’s really useful and will keep you right ☺️

Stock up on carpet cleaner & puppy pads. You'll soon start to get to know he's likely to wee.

Start in training pants if you are concerned, unlike nappies they give them a feeling of being wet so they notice a difference.. we used them but found bare bum and 👀 was easier, potty in the room on a towel, encouraging them to have a sit ‘remember to tell mummy if you think you need a wee wee’

Every time he has an accident, take him to the toilet, whether he’s finished weeing or not. Training pants are great, they helped us. Positive reinforcement, so little rewards like stickers when he leaves the nappy off, sits on the toilet/potty. My daughter sat on puppy pads while on the sofa for a few days
