@Karen she has a water & sand table, scooter, some outfits including swimwear, blanket, drink bottle, pair of docs from Vinted, sticker books, drawing easel thing, activity box and some books. It’s a range of different things really not
It’s fine, you’ve got enough ☺️
I would say it’s spot on. I have spent similar for my daughter’s 3rd. Including the zoo, presents and clothes.
My sons 1st birthday had just passed I think we spent around £1800 in present alone, not including decorations and the cakes and food. And to be completely honest it was way to much I don’t regret it as I think birthdays are so special, but he has hardly played with half of the things we got him. So honestly it’s probably the perfect amount.
I don’t think its about money really , but 16 things is a great amount! Like if you got 16 things at a pound each you wouldn’t think oh it’s not enough because it’s still 16 things you’ll know she’ll love! Saying this, I always go OTT with birthdays and Christmas as i never think it looks like enough 🫠🤣x
@Abbi exactly I feel like 16 that many but at that same time it’s a lot and £132 is a chunk
We do about $100 for birthdays. Usually one or two gifts.
It's totally up to you! Nothing is too much or too little for them xx
16 is a lot and so is £132 ! You’re forgetting 2 year olds would be happy with a load of boxes haha! they won’t know and would be happy with just 2 presents! You’re forgetting it soon adds up if you’re doing balloons etc decorations , a day out / dinner etc!! X
That’s about the same that I spent for my daughter’s 2nd, she had a couple less gifts, about 14 I think. She just opened them throughout the day. Some one of those types of children who likes to open something and play with it before opening another
@Abbi yeah decided to out the scooter away from Christmas, takes it down to £115, and we’ve got balloons already. Deciding to put another thing away to the side as well make it £100 sort of thing. Can’t really put the clothes away for Christmas though 😅
@Katie my girls the same so thing some balloons to her water table and setting that up the night before
It's not about money. It sounds like she's got more than enough tbh! At 2 they're more interested in the wrapping paper and balloons anyway!
I've spent about £400 plus on my daughters birthday, my friend is buying her a switch and my other is taking us on holiday. I usually spend about £600 on my kids each but that's because I'm a twat and get everything they want. They don't appreciate it, it's my mum guilt... also they get overwhelmed picking toys because they have so much... less is more ♡
Difficult to tell without knowing what you’re got. I normally do one main present, a game, a book, something to wear, something to play with. At that age there is a lot more educational toys. I also filled it out with second hand like puzzles and dressing up clothes. It sounds fine.
