My little girl had the same issue. We used bepanthen is a life saver x

My daughter got a sore bum every time she was teething

My daughters bum used to get red raw when teething. Her poos would be almost diarrhoea and very acidic so I had to bath her bum every nappy change and smother her in sudocream.

Teething will be causing this probably. But also remove bath products. Babies don’t need them! Also reduce baths to once or twice a week, again they don’t need them daily and the water just strips the natural oils in the skin.

Try adding a drop of chamomile oil to her bath. Or use a small amount with your cotton water when changing. It works wonders and very soothing.

Just a little tip—try to check the baby products you’re using to make sure they’re non-toxic and free from any harsh chemicals. Sometimes babies don’t react straight away, but skin irritation or other issues can show up later with continued use. It might be worth reviewing things like moisturisers, bath products, and even the nappies you're using to ensure they’re gentle and safe. I’d also recommend checking in with your GP for peace of mind. Best of luck!

Aquaphor helps

Ever since he was 2m old we haven’t had problems w red bum or rashes but we did switch over to cloth wipes and cloth diapers at 2m and that’s what he used until he trained. Don’t use wetwipes for now use water only or cloth wipes and pat dry and let her have full nappy free time on the rug in between naps and feeds. Lay out a rug on the grass outside because the sun and air is good for their bum too.

If you're talking about diaper rash aquaphore works wonders. My baby has only had one really bad diaper rash and since using aquaphor regularly she hasn't had another case of diaper rash. Thank God
