Teething.. again?

My baby popped 2 bottom teeth about 3 weeks ago and over the past few days he’s been very fussy, sooky, I’m now drying my milk up as he prefers formula bottles, and won’t let ANYONE hold him besides me and dad. A few days ago I thought his top gums looks swollen but didn’t think anything of it. Yesterday at a family gathering he was so grumpy I ended up giving him neurofen as I’d tried everything else and assumed he was in pain - this helped & he was super happy. So that tells me there’s possibly pain or he is uncomfortable in some way. I also remembered his cheeks have been red and dry this week and that he was constipated too. He’s also biting down on his tongue. So I checked his gums again after we got home and to me, they do look swollen. He’s only just gone 7 months so is it normal for both bottom and top to come in straight after eachother? Do the tops take longer than the bottoms to cut through? Also, does it definitely sound to you like he’s teething? Thankyou x

Mine still has the lower incisors, so I don't speak from experience. But it does sound like it.

It could be, and teeth don’t have to come in a certain order. My baby is 7 months and has 5 teeth already Button central incisors, one lateral lower incisor, and both upper lateral incisors The upper central incisors are there and ready to popp but seem to take their sweet time

My daughter got in there and looked properly and yep!!! He’s cut through a top tooth

Yes, this is normal! My boy had his 2 bottoms come in at 4 months and the 2 tops starting poking through at the end of his 6 month!

My baby boy got his bitten two at 5 months, too two at 6 months and now he’s getting his second set of his top teeth at 7 months <3
