Combination feeding advice
Hi my little boy has just turned 9 weeks hes on 5oz of formula during the night and breastfeeds during the day for the past week he has been wanting to breastfeed after his bottles he drink's about 4 1/2 out of 5oz then will not settle until he's had a full breastfeed i try to give him the other 1/2 an ounce but he refuses the bottle and wants to be breastfed im not sure why or what to do im scared im over feeding him

Theres never a such thing as eating more than they should be. He’s not getting satisfied because he’s not getting full. Whoever is telling you that he’s only allowed to eat a certain amount is a liar
you can overfeed them. if their stomach hurts, eating will soothe it. he could be gassy or need to burp. When he nurses is he actively trying to get milk or just lightly sucking? he could just be trying to use your breast as a paci

You can’t overfeed your baby, when your baby gets full they won’t want any more so if he just wants the breast I don’t see why you shouldn’t just let him eat as much as he wants. My son eats for 30-40 minutes at a time solely breastfed
