Help with skin care routine

Hi mamas! I currently don’t have any skin care routine (sometimes I even miss washing my face) I have a 9 months old and am pretty sleep deprived! I combo feed my baby, so I still can’t use all products ( Retinoids was my friend before pregnancy but haven’t used it for almost 2 years) and my skin is awful right now! I feel like I aged over 10 years from early pregnancy and my skin feels saggy! I’m wondering what skin care routine do you follow or suggest? Thank you!

Been there too. so much changes after babies! 😩 I found it helpful to simplify my routine and do the very basic cleanse, tone & moisturising morning & night. sometimes i skip but i dont beat myself about it lol. I also found it beneficial to use more organic/natural skincare. and since your skin is saggy i think something to boost collagen & elasticity would help. x

Thank you @Sara do you have suggestions for any of the organic brands for moisturizer and toner? The ones I have has barely list of ingredients and I’m not sure which ones are safe …

@Kellie are these safe for breastfeeding? Have you checked the ingredients?

I’m not strict w myself what I use for BF. If you wanna check by all means you can. I just stay away from retinol the main one I don’t have any anyway. You wanted recommendations, I gave you some. You can check the ingredients if you want but that’s what’s worked for me, Korean skincare, what helped me glow pregnant and BF and even now, giving me that glass skin look. They are mainly snail mucin, green tea or rice based products (Korean skincare in general)

I do also take multis, hair skin nails, hair vitamins, and collagen powder daily. To work from within. Lots of water. I was more thirsty than hungry BF. If you are dehydrated from within it’ll show on the outside 🙃

I’m an independent with Tropic skincare, and that’s what I’ve been using during breastfeeding & throughout my second pregnancy. It’s certified organic & safe to use during pregnancy. There are also other organic brands if you look up and they usually state the ingredients as well. But if you would like to have a chat about general advice and help with tailoring a routine for your skin type, i’m happy to help (no obligation to buy, just like to help moms with their skin) x
