No one told me how hard it would be to make mum friends. Not the surface-level kind. The real kind. The "come over even if my house is a mess" kind. The "bring your kid, I don’t care if they scream the whole time" kind. The "you don’t have to pretend you have it all together" kind. It’s not easy to find other mums who don’t judge. Who don’t compare. Who show up. Who get it. Motherhood can feel so lonely, even when you’re never alone. And sometimes, what you really need isn’t advice or opinions You just need a friend who says, "I see you. I’ve been there. Let’s go through this together." If you’ve found that kind of friend, hold on tight. And if you haven’t, you’re not the only one still searching. You’re not too much. You’re not doing it wrong. You’re just craving something real. And that’s more than okay.

I hear you, the only thing is I struggle getting out and about as I suffer with hypermobility spectrum disorder and plantar fasciitis in both of my feet so untill I figure out how to sort this out I don't think I'll ever have that kind of friend, you see TV shows like desperate housewives their great group of friends and that's what I would love but I don't socialise much as I'm just in to much pain so I avoid making friends as I often don't go out due to chronic pain I experience every day x I hope you find that friend đź’–
