Potty Training Fail

My 22 month old's daycare is closed this upcoming week, and we've been planning for months to use this time to potty train. It's a bit earlier than I would really like to do, but she gets chronic diaper rash - Since November, we haven't been able to clear it up for more than a week. We've tried sitz baths, different diapers (both cloth and disposable), different wipes, and tons of different creams / ointments, including prescription ones. Potty training was kind of the last resort. Well, we started potty training this morning and lasted a whole three hours. She started freaking out at the sight of underwear, tantrumming at the sight of the potty, and had 8 accidents in the last two hours alone. I don't think she's ready, and really don't want her to hate the potty. But I don't know what else to do for the rashes. Any tips?

Let her air dry a couple times a day. Like be naked for even 5 min at a time. It works wonders. Also, water baths every day. You don’t have to use soap every time but just to clean her bottom

My brother used to blow dry my nieces bottom with a hair dryer to make sure she was 💯 dry before putting a new nappy on. She didn’t get a rash even once

Maybe you've already tried this but i mix 1 part witch hazle 1 part pure aloe to 2 parts water into a spray bottle and shake it well. Use it to spray BEFORE wiping to be gentler on skin and AFTER and let it air dry then Aquaphor. It has been a god sent.
