Dribble is very acidic so it’s very common. I use a natural balm twice a day or more on my daughter’s chest which gets sore from drool if I don’t catch it in time. It’s the calming butter from drought secret.
Does he use a dummy? My son used to get this very same rash and it was from the skin not being able to breathe. Before I took dummies away I used to put Vaseline on him to protect his skin from the dribble but it cleared up completely once he was dummy free x
We had this problem & I brought/tried so many different lotions - I went back to basics and got Vaseline works wonders I apply throughout the day when I can but what helps the most is when he’s asleep I’ll add a thick layer around his mouth & rub it in a little he’s face looks very greasy but does the trick😂xx
@Nire he does have a dummy but only for sleep. He currently has one nap a day and has it at night too
@Amy I will have to try Vaseline! Never thought of using this before. Thanks ☺️ x
I agree Vaseline works x
I use this and it’s brilliant. https://amzn.eu/d/7wZy2wX
Literally tried everything, even got a cream prescribed only for Sudo Crem to do the trick lol that cream is honestly magic x
My daughter is 2.5 and is getting her last molars through and has had a really sore face. I agree with Vaseline too, it’s a great barrier to keep the dribble off the sore patches
We use satin sheets which has helped - also he’s so cute!!! 😍
