Birth Notes from QA

Hey, has anyone requested birth notes from QA? If so when did you request yours and when did you receive? I’ve been waiting 7 months for my notes. I saw on here 8 weeks ago someone requested theirs a week before I did and they received them so I’m interested to see if mine have been skipped or something. Thanks!

@Izzy so bad!! It took me a while after my baby was born to request and I’m running out of time to put complaint in with the hospital 😅

Honestly I think that's why they do it! I wouldn't be surprised. I put my request in when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd as I had a lot of questions surrounding my first labour, baby number 2 has already been born in the time I've been waiting! 🤦🏼

I’d get your complaint in with PALS anyway - I work for the NHS and once the complaints received the teams involved in the complaint will need to investigate etc and you can also then add onto it how long you’ve been waiting for your notes x

I complained to PALS, got a response back about someone else’s complaint. Complained about that, got someone’s else’s response again so reported it to the ICO now x
