Suggestions for baby wearer

I have the infantino 4 in 1 which can also be front facing and worn on your back! I also have a chunky monkey and it's comfortable for both of us, and easy to get on when it's just the two of us. They're often on Vinted for around a fiver!

We have a baby bjorn and a chunky almost 9 month old (10kg!) and he’s gotten too big for it so I’ve bought a ryloobaby wrap and it’s so much better and bub loves it - he seems much more comfortable in it and it’s easier to carry him. It’s a little tricky to put on/wrap around you at first but I got used to it after a couple times.

I use the egrobaby omni 360 I got a gorgeous one off of Vinted. It’s front wearing, back wearing and hip wearing. I only use it for front wearing and find it really easy to put on. You clip it round your waist, set baby in and put your arms through then baby is secure enough for you to reach up and do the clip on the back of your shoulders. ☺️

I recommend the ergobaby. My daughter who is almost 2 fits in it and my son who is 7 months fits too. You can wear it in lots of ways and the reason I chose it is because of the lumbar support. Also works well for both me and my partner plus has a pouch for a phone/keys. If you’re deciding between a few, it would be worth going to your local sling library to try them out plus you can hire one

Id suggest going to a sling library. Everyone has different opinions and what actually suits you and your body type could be different again. Sling library is free, you can try different slings on and they will show you how to do it safely

Sling library is a much better shout than going on others’ recommendations if you can get to one! Everyone is built differently and find different carriers comfortable or not. Better to hire a carrier and test it out for a couple of weeks than to spend lots of money on something that might not work for you
