Formula isn't enough ?

Hello Girlies, My LO is exclusively on formula since she was born. Now she is almost 3 months old and whoever sees her says she is thin and not that chubby like a baby who feeds on breast milk. I want to know that babies who are on formula milk don't gain much weight ? Are they average weight gainers ? How do I increase my baby's weight, though she is not underweight at all.

I’d tell the people making unnecessary comments to shut it down if your pediatrician isn’t concerned then I’d say she’s doing great! Not all babies are chunky. Not all babies are skinny. Depends on baby.

is she happy? thats all that matters, if she finishes her bottle increase intake by an oz, not all babies are chubby.

If she’s happy and gaining weight ignore them

Some babies just gain differently. Both kids gained slow but were fed differently

My baby is breastfed, he’s 1 now and in 6-9 clothes he’s just small x

Commenting on a baby’s body is ridiculous. I would stop listening to anything else someone said if they thought it was ok to talk about a baby’s body. Babies drinking formula vs breast milk isn’t what determines their shape or size.

If your doctor is fine with her progress, then be real with these people and tell them to mind their business and not worry about your daughter. Some babies are chunky some aren’t.

hey there! tbh, every baby is different, and some are just naturally leaner, but if your little one is healthy and hitting her milestones, that's what really matters. maybe chat with your doc about it, but don't stress too much! this is what the 'Heal App' mentioned… hope it helps! "It's understandable to feel concerned about your little one's weight, especially with so many opinions around. Babies on formula can gain weight just as well as breastfed babies, and growth can vary widely among infants. The average weight gain for babies in the first few months is about 5 to 7 ounces per week, regardless of whether they are breastfed or formula-fed. To help support your baby's weight gain, ensure she is getting enough formula at each feeding-typically, babies this age consume about 24 to 32 ounces of formula per day. Additionally, you can try to feed her more frequently if she seems hungry. If you have any concerns about her growth or feeding habits,
