How would you feel about someone hiding eggs at your front door with candy inside?

If you left the house and found that someone had left little colorful plastic Easter eggs with sealed candy (little Reece's or kitkats or jellybeans in unopened sealed bags), would that weird you out? We have so many extra eggs right now that I was thinking of leaving some for neighbors as a nice surprise, but then I started wondering if people might get weirded out. Some neighbors have kids too. As a mom myself, I'd want to check the candy before my kids eat it, but all of the candy we have is from a bag we bought and all the pieces are fully sealed. Am I overthinking it?

If they’re full sealed ect then it wouldn’t be a problem, a nice suprise, possibly more so the neighbours that don’t have kids, elderly x

Maybe include a note with who they’re from. If they know you they wouldn’t be as “weirded out”. Some in my neighborhood did this with their townhome number to meet other families, etc

I'd leave a simple note like "Happy Easter from the Johnsons." That way its not a mystery.

I'd include a note so that they know who left it❤️

I would tell the parents and let the surprise be for the kids so it’s not weird and I agree if they are fully sealed.

I am a momma bear we accept the chocolate gifts but we would eat the candies while watching through the blinds trying to decipher such odd goings ons lol. I guess it depends on where your imaginary house is located.

If there was a note or text from the family then cool but otherwise? Probably not letting me kid eat it
