Potty training

My little girl is almost 3 but won’t tell me if she wants to wee or poo and even if she does it in the nappy she won’t tell me until I find out myself. I’ve tried telling and training her to do it on the potty but she still doesn’t want to. I’m I doing it wrong or I should wait?

Sounds like she’s maybe just not ready 🤷🏻‍♀️ with the warmer weather I just let my little run wild in our garden with nothing on his bottom half. They will pee all over themselves on the regular but it’ll help them start to recognise the sensation. Worked to help it click with my first so hoping my second won’t be far from it but he’s still figuring it out on his own.

What @Gaby said, I also think she might not be ready.

She possibly might not be ready i tried 2 weeks before christmas and she was the same i tried a week after christmas and she got it straight away so although it was only 3 weeks difference it was a massive difference with progression. Mine never told me i just had to completely swap to knickers because i found if she had a nappy on she would wee in it anyway so it might be better to completely swap for knickers and take the nappy off. Mine still wears a nappy at night and she’s been trained since January, i don’t think she’s ready for no nappy at night yet. I started off reminding her every 10 mins about needing a wee or i said mummy’s going for one are you coming. We had a good few accidents to start off but within 2 weeks she was trained, it’s hard and youl find she might go backwards on some days but stick at it and she will get it. Good luck 🤞🏼
