I have carpets as well, and I invested in potty training pants. They feel like normal pants, so there was no nappy confusion. However, they caught most of the wee, so there were no puddles on the floor 😊
@Amy where can I get these?
@Natalie so what did you dress your child in? Did they still wear bottoms?
I had planned on starting this week we started Monday and i got these training pants which makes them feel that they are wet but catch the wee but she ended up really poorly during the week which has set us back with potty training so starting again in a few weeks when she is 100% herself again. This is link to the training pants, there are all different desighns/patterns 😊 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B08W1Q5SB2?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
She did a dress with nothing underneath. Asked for knickers on and still did well.
I got some called jacklovesbriefs from amzon, 10 pairs for under £20. Just had him in them for a couple days, he still felt wet when he went for a wee, but saved my carpets. They aren't fully leak proof or anything, but you shouldn't get puddles anywhere.
@Rebecca thank you!

@Natalie we did nappy free, no bottoms then introduced them x
Nappy free worked best for us x
Nappy free is the best way but you need to stay in for a few days! But it is definitely worth it x
Pull ups are basically nappies. We did nappy free and stayed at home for the first 3 days. Didn't have many accidents tbh.
