@Chloe do you know what would be good for reflux? I’m not 100% my LO has reflux I just see them swallowing vomit when it comes up
Colief drops have really helped my little girl x
My girl is on gaviscon now as I had it prescribed by my dr. I do give her colief drops here and there along side the gaviscon x With the drops you have to wait 30 minutes before you give the feed and they have to go into the milk and not be given by mouth
We are using gripe water (infacol made my little girl SO much worse) Although you can only use gripe water from 1 month old..so we had to ride it out for a week until she was old enough 🥲
We are also using gripe water x
@Haych I’m exclusively breastfeeding and I believe these have to be added to a bottle :(
They don’t have to be added to a bottle We have been using the syringes we had for colostrum & putting it in her mouth that way
I’ve just ordered dentinox, not sure if it has e numbers. Also was using gripe water but my baby kept choking on it (even giving it in a syringe)
Just checked, it does contain E numbers 🤦🏼♀️
@𝗄𝖾𝗅𝗌𝖾𝗒 how much gripe water would you give?
We use BioGaia
@𝗄𝖾𝗅𝗌𝖾𝗒 @Christie Gripe water has sweeteners and E numbers too :(
@Daniella I am using a probiotic already (Optibac) just was hoping for something more effective
I recommend BioGaia! I usually give 2 drops in the morning and 2/3 before night time. (I place the drop directly on my nipple).
I don’t know a good alternative but I will say Infacol is terrible for reflux, the orange flavouring is very acidic and actually makes it worse, so defo don’t use it for reflux!
