5 nearly 6 week old stool.

My little boy has reflux, fought over the weekend for something to be done about it, thankfully we got there. Has anyone changed baby’s formula to the anti reflux (we’re on cow and gate) and baby’s stools got lighter?

Any change in formula can change their stools. It can take a couple of weeks for their systems to get used to it x

Thank you! That’s reassuring x

No problem! My son had to change formulas so many times due to reflux that would never resolve and milk allergies, it’s a nightmare x

Thankfully he’s been prescribed gaviscon now and changed to anti reflux but he’s pooping a lot more and his stools had gone paler, didn’t have any problems like this with my 1st x

We’ve just changed our little one who is the same age to comfort milk and he’s pooping a lot more than he used to and they’ve gone paler! We were told it can take a while for their system to get used to the new formula :)

Thank you! It’s a bit mucusy now, not sure if that’s because of the milk change, because he’s got a cold or both 🥲x

I think most reflux formula does cause a mucus like chest, I always went gp as I thought he had chest infection but they explained it was the reflux formula as it was a thicker. we have probably been on most of the brands turns out my kid just doesn't like milk. he got put on some prescribed milk to help with gaining weight too but he just had really bad wind it was so offensive

Thank you, he’s keeping it down and is gaining weight really well. He however has a lot of gas/farting but can’t really notice an offensive smell to them
