Low lying placenta travelling abroad

I had my 19 week scan which showed a 2cm low lying placenta. I'm due to fly to cyprus and go on a cruise at 21 weeks for 1 week, can't decide what to do about it whether to go or not. I'm going to see the GP tomorrow to discuss whether fit to fly but I'm on the fence about what to do. What bothers me is obviously the flight and then the fact I'll be on a cruise where medical facilities are limited. Any help/advice?

I’d suggest changing ur holiday last minute if possible to a hotel in a country of even a UK city break then if anything goes wrong u can get to a hospital xx

I would go, lots of people have low placenta and you are. Only 21 weeks

@Soraya we can't change the holiday, we'd either have to go or I'd need to get a not fit to travel note so we can cancel and claim back on insurance x

At 18 weeks I’d experienced bleeding and was admitted into hospital overnight. When they did a scan, they said I had a low lying placenta. The scan was on the Tuesday. I was going on holiday 3 days later. When I mentioned it to the midwife she asked how long the flight was. It was about 2 hours. She told me it would be okay and to just take screenshots of my notes/medication in case there’s an emergency on holiday and I don’t have access to wifi.
