Car seat protectors

We’ve just started potty training and we haven’t been out of the house yet. I’m thinking we need some form of protection for the car seat when we go out in a few days. Any suggestions? Please comment links if you have them. Thanks!

We use this one, it was recommended in the car seat group I’m in on FB. Koo-Di Oopsie Do Do Baby Car Seat... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09HTS9T5B?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

You need to look into what is okay to use with your car seat from the manufacturer. Something as simple as disposable leak proof pads makes the car seat unsafe for baby. I have a Graco 4ever and if my toddler pees in it, I just take the cover off and wash it. She's potty training too.

I didn’t use any car seat protectors we had a bunch of cloth training pants that I used for going out. And since he was 12m we used those casually at home. Since he was a cloth bum baby anyway. But I made him pee before we left and before we jumped in the car again even if that meant I had to open the door and he pee on the kerb outside, so be it lol.

Adding anything to the carseat that is not from the manufacturer is a no-no! What I did with my daughter in just slip a pull up on *over* her undies; she can still feel an accident, but it doesn't leak out onto the seat, and we can remove it when we get to the destination!

Thanks for all the advice everyone!

@Sheri I was being thick. I didn’t even think of this. Good thing I asked here!
