When to start washing baby clothes

When does everyone plan to wash their baby clothes? I have most of the items ready, as it’s my second child, though would love to get the clothes washed and put nicely in the drawers, so it’s all tidy. Is it too early?

No more than 4-6 weeks before, you don’t want them to go musty/dusty or mouldy being left for months!

You could still wash and put away now and just re wash later!

Last time I washed them around 4 weeks before just incase he came early, I’ll probably do the same this time aswell, maybe a little earlier as it’s my second x

I think now is fine, provided you have somewhere to put them. I have some clothes that I only wear once or twice a year, but they're absolutely fine in the cupboard/drawer for that long, not musty or anything at all. I think if things are going musty in a drawer for a few months then they probably weren't completely clean to start with 🤷🏼‍♀️
