Potty training advice/help!!

So my little one has been interested in the potty/toilet for a while now. He has been going for wees on the toilet and potty so thought he was ready for full potty training. However, we can have a good few hours and then it all goes to pot. He asks every morning to put on his big boy pants which I obviously think is fantastic but by the afternoon I'm deflated. Do you think he isn't ready yet? Should I not put him back in nappies after a few accidents? All very new to this and don't know if I'm doing the wrong things and not helping. Please help!

if you’re potty training i’d say no nappies at all apart from naps and bedtime as it can confuse them if they keep swapping between the two. i did the 3 day method with my son, he ran around naked for 3 days then the 4th day i put pants on and the 5th pants and trousers and went out. i think with some children putting pants on straight away feels like a nappy so they just wee, so maybe try naked xx

Thank you xx

Where did you read about the three day method

I’d say go all in for three days and see how you go. If you see no improvement then try again in a few months but going backwards and forwards with nappies can be confusing for them.

it’s called the oh crap method i loosely followed it but my son has been potty trained since early feb i would say, has the odd accident here and there xx

Ok thank you. I shall give it a go xx
