I’d just throw a Milton tab in the sink, the bleach will destroy anything in the water too
Collapsible bucket, Milton tablets and tap water will be fine x
I went to Cyprus at 6 months and I was sterilising bottles using Milton tablets. Took the steriliser tub, I'd wash everything including steriliser daily at the hotel bar where the sink was spotless. Prior to using the sink I'd wash that too (think I went OTT here though!) I used water with the lowest levels of sodium to sterilise. I could have easily used tap water to sterilise but I was just being cautious. If you do end up using filtered water/ mineral water for sterilising just ensure sodium levels are extremely low. If there's a microwave at hand you can use travel sterilising bags though you'd need a small amount of water in the bag like 30mls but it gets done instantly!
You could look at microwave sterilising bags if you’ve got the facility in an Airbnb / apartment - otherwise as others have said, the Milton tablets will take care of it for you. You could probably just purchase a bucket / tub from a shop there x
As Jess said above & if all else fails and you have nothing around, ask for a champagne cooler wash it thoroughly and use it for sterilising with Milton tablets, you can place a dish over it!
You can use tap water to sterilise. The Milton kills pathogens
We had this for our first holiday when my daughter was around the same age! Tablets and keep it in the hotel bathroom worked a treat! Also used the microwave sterilising bags (but not in microwave) same concept as the cold water steriliser but take up less room in your case! Xx
You can use tap water with Milton it’s absolutely fine! When we went abroad we brought large zip lock bags which saved loads of space and worked really well. Could fit a couple of bottles in each x
I went to Egypt with my 3/4 month old at the time and I used tap water and a collapsable bucket and Milton tablets.
I would purchase a gallon of distilled water from the store and use that. I do that even at home
