I was induced at 37 weeks due to slow growth estimated 5lb 2oz and he was born 37+3 weighing 5lb 14oz so less than average size but not as teeny as some babies I’ve come across! He was in tiny baby clothes for 2 months, we struggled with weight gain for a little but that was due to my breast milk not retaining enough fat for him to put weight on, has been thriving since being on just formula from 3.5 months! He’s now 5.5 months and weighs 17lb 6oz! No complications, perfectly healthy little boy x

I had a 6lb baby at full term, some issues with slow weight gain as I breast fed her but she had additional weigh ins and tracked nicely along her centile. She was in tiny baby clothes and always wears the age range one behind her actual age. Now I'm having baby number two I have additional growth scans and am on aspirin but other than that all good.

Hi, my little one was born at 34 weeks at 3lb 3oz and she is absolutely fine. She’s now 1 year old but still small. She still only weighs about 13lbs and is still in 3-6 months clothing- but she is doing everything she should be doing for her age. The HV have asked us to see doctor and paediatrician. But I’m not concerned she’s grown and picked up so much weight in the last 12 months. Hope all is okay! The unknown is very scary 🫣

Good morning, my little boy was born at 37 weeks and weighed 4lb 4oz. He’s 18 months next week. He on the smaller side but absolutely thriving 🤍

Yep! I had growth scans every two weeks from 20 weeks, multiple fetal medicine appointments, induction at 37 weeks. Baby boy arrived at 38+1 weighing 6lb 5oz perfectly healthy :) some people just make smaller babies

Had mine at 35 weeks and she weighed 3.5lbs (due to pre-eclampsia). She had/ has no issues. She was in the 0.2 percentile at birth. Now 2.5yrs old and in 50th percentile. So she's pretty much caught up and thriving. She wears 2-3 year old clothing but can get away with some 18-24 month tops for context.
