@Chloe can I ask what one you bought? One of the wee glider/rocker and recliner chairs? It sounds like it’s worth it and could be used in the living room in future to be fair!
I bought a Gaia Baby rocking chair with the little matching ottoman/footstool thing ☺️ Yes- that’s exactly our plan. I’d like to use it in a little reading nook.
I have a rocking chair with a footstool and I’m glad I bought it. Still being used now and LO is 13 months 😊
We got a glider chair and matching footstool from facebook for free, washed the covered and cleaned it. We still use it multiple times every day and daughter is nearly 2 and a half.

Yes 100% get a rocking chair recliner, I personally bought mine second hand off marketplace but it is 100% a necessity in our house
Mine was expensive and bulky, and at first I thought we’d made a mistake buying it. But, oh my god its more than made its money back, it’s used every day, multiple times a day, and it’s been through both of my children and I’m hoping will still have a life in our home once my youngest doesn’t need it anymore. If you have the budget and space, I’d absolutely recommend one. And, expensive for us meant something more comfortable which made it all the more useful.
