Refusing milk

Going through the exact same thing with my little girl as well. She’s also 7.5months. We have been told it may be to do with teething, not sure which teething gel you’re using, but we were recommended anbesol. It’s fantastic, so much better than teething powders or bonjela. It numbs the gums, can be used up to 6 times in 24 hours. Just keep making sure your little boy is having water (boiled and cooled) and the solid food. Keep offering the milk too. There’s lots of stomach bugs going around at the moment as well, so that also may be playing a part in it:( x

Ahh bless him, horrible isn’t it when they’re not feeding🥲 But yes! Anbesol has been a godsend for us, we also put a little bit on her dummy when she’s going down for naps too! My little girl didn’t like the taste at first, it’s a lot stronger than other teething gels, but we’ve been using it for about 2weeks now and she loves it! Really hope it works for your little boy🫶🏻🩵x

We are in exactly the same boat. Overnight his appetite has just changed. The NHS says 17-20oz of milk a day for 7-9 month old when they are on 3 meals. He has just dropped from 28/30oz a day to about 20 so I feel like he is starving. He isn't he just prefers food as it's easier for him than milk with teething x

Try offering little but often with milk feeds, he will only take what and when he wants, as long as he is still doing wet/dirty nappies then don’t worry to much x

We had the exact same thing last week! Still no teeth but drinking milk and eating again!
