Sounds like a growth spurt too upping won’t do no harm my son has been on 7oz since 2 1/2 months he only has 4 bottles a day. He was 9lb 9oz at birth and has been a hungry boy. Honestly he’s drained every bottle since birth 🤣🤣 My first son was exactly the same! I never had to go over 7oz per bottle they seemed satisfied on that x
@Tanya he wasn't a particularly big baby when born but his first growth spurt he grew like a weed. I had to put him in his 6-9 onesies last night as he has super super long legs if he grows any longer I'm going to have to send him off to school next week 😂
@Holley awhhh bless him! My boy is in a mixture of 3-6 and 6-9 too now! And I’ve just started buying 4-5 clothes for my nearly 3 year old! both definitely take after their 6ft5 dad 🤣🤣
@Tanya I'm looking forward to it when he's older neither me or my husband are particularly tall and there's a kitchen cupboard I can't quite reach without steps 😂
Sounds like he wants upping to the 7 ounce also sounds like a growth spurt. My little girl is 4 and half months and is on 7 ounce every 3 hours.when I first upped her she would polish off some bottle but struggle to finish 1 or 2 bottle throughout the day. May I ask where you got your bottle handles from please? Xx
@Sam they're mam ones I got from the mam website but I believe you can get cheaper compatible ones off Amazon. Got them initially just because he's always liked to be involved with his feeds usually he just holds on a little todays been full on self feeding. We tried his last bottle at 7 ounces because he was hungry again 2 and a half hours after his last 6 ounce bottle. I am covered in baby puke 😂 tomorrow's another day
Hi mama, my little one is 5 months old next week and she is on 7oz every 3 hours and has been for a couple of weeks now. She suffers with reflux too and is on a reflux formula. I would say if your baby is still hungry then to follow your instincts and offer 7oz, and if they don’t take it then you’ve at least tried! My HV said that when my baby finishes her bottles consistently for 3 days then to move her up on oz, she was a little bit more sicky than usual moving her up but she has since settled xx
