Jabs

My little one didn’t suffer with the first or third jabs but the second she was really poorly, she was fine in the day and then woke us up in the night with a temperature and had a cold/congestion for about a week after, was not her usual self and was crying a lot too, broken sleep :( it was horrible to see her like that and felt so helpless x

Yep exactly the same as mine! He had his at 10 am this morning and has pretty much non stop cried since 2 pm today! Calpol doesn’t seem to be having an impact

@Emily oh bless her! It’s awful isn’t it!? I’ll be stood rocking her and she’s just got tears rolling down her cheeks it’s awful and I feel so helpless too! X

@Anna same, calpol doesn’t seem to be helping. She doesn’t have a temp which is good but she’s just so unsettled and just non stopped crying. She normally has a dummy to soothe but she’s refusing the dummy today. I just feel so bad for her! Hope you have a good night with your little one and hope he feels better soon bless him! X

Ohhh that’s not nice 😢 bless her I hope she gets back to her normal self soon! I’ve not used it myself but I’ve heard from other mums that baby nurofen can sometimes work better than calpol, if you need x

Also in the same situation. Had third set of jabs today and she’s either crying or sleeping and does have a temperature and Calpol isn’t working. It makes you feel so helpless

I'm in the same boat, jabs this morning and she slept from 12pm -7pm (wish she could do that at night 🤣). I tried to wake her to feed but she just screamed, she has no temp. Hopefully everything is back to normal by the morning x

Oh gosh! Hope all of us get a decent night! Hope everyone’s little ones feel better soon!! I just keep reminding myself it’s for a good cause (as in she’s now protected) x

Hey all, how did your babies feel today? We've got our 3rd jab booked for Friday and I'm extremely nervous about it 😣

@Ral not to put you off or anything but my boy has been really crying on and off all day. He’s had a lot of sickness as well, no temperature though. I’m actually in shock how much it’s affected him! He was fine for the first 2!!

@Ral my little one isn’t too bad today. She’s a lot more fussy and just wants to sleep. I’ve had to wake her up for feeds and she’s just screamed but it does seem like it’s fading a little bit this evening as she’s been smiley this evening and had a bath. But no temp for her just really uncomfortable x

@Anna I'm sorry you're both going through this, now I'm even more nervous. My baby was ok-ish after 2nd jab, it's the first one that really got me and I know the 3rd is quite similar or worse! Hope your baby will recover soon!

@Ral he’s woken up so much better this morning! Thank goodness! Good luck for you little ones jabs, I ended up using calpol and baby nurofen so maybe worth getting them both in if you haven’t already! 😊

@Anna that's very good news. Thanks for the tip, I'll go and buy some nurofen today and hopefully we won't need to use it 🤞
