Milk at night?

We put off transitioning my 15 month old from formula to milk as she had a bad tummy for ages after starting nursery and we were worried the milk was making it worse. We've just done our first full day of milk and no formula and she's been fine (which is a huge relief), but she's going through a sleep regression and is waking 1-2 times a night for the last few days....and we've realised we don't know what to do about milk at night? We would usually give her ready made formula in the night if she won't go back down....but should we still? How do you do it with milk, just give it straight from the fridge? Or did you weaning off night feeds by giving water. Or going cold turkey on any feed?

I’ve done weaning her off, giving her water instead and giving her milk straight from the fridge. I’m just giving it to her when I think she needs it, usually when she doesn’t settle and gets fidgety. I’m not too fussed about it as she drinks it all, so clearly she actually wants it rather than having it for comfort for a couple of seconds. I always say just do what’s best for you guys, there’s no right or wrong way. At my daughters 1 year check up (she’s now 15m) they told me I need to get her off milk at night, but tbh if she wants it I don’t know what the problem is 🤣

I would offer water instead of milk at night 🙂

We use a ready made for if he needs one in the night. I tried doing the switch to water but this seems to energise him and he stays up for 2 hrs 🙈😴
