Pram on plane

Anyone flown with Jet2 and taken their pram right to the plane and hand it to them to put in the hold? Do they weigh it at bag check in beforehand? I want to take my normal pram but it’s definitely over 10kg which is the allowance for prams/travel cots/car seats combined. Anyone have experience with this? Did you buy a separate lighter pram?

We’re taking over 3y/o son away in October and yesterday I bought the Hauck shop n care pram it’s 8.5kg as r other prams r over 10kg. I was going to get the Hauck travel pram which is 6.5kg but my sons very tall for his age and it was too small for him but seems a good pram x

We bought a bugaboo butterfly and it fits in the overhead locker. So handy as you can have with you at all times. Its been one off the best purchases we have made ☺️ not sure where you are based but we got it in strollers in coleraine, they have a great range of travel prams at all different prices x

We bought a cheap buggy off fb marketplace as it was really handy and also wouldnt worry if it got scuffed etc. How many pieces is your pram? Im nearly surely a 2 piece pram uses up your 2 items so just to bear in mind

No airline has ever weighted my pram. If foldable as one just gate drop it. They tag it checking in bags and then take it off you before boarding. We have the joie brisk lx umbrella fold one
