Toilet training - goes at nursery but not at home

We started at the beginning of feb, straight to knickers, very excited for the potty and big toilet, used sticker charts, lots of praise, chocolate rewards. Lots of accidents as expected but getting better then she just decided she didn’t want to do it and so then came the tantrums. BUT, she will happily go at nursery and even asks for the toilet there, at home she just goes in her knickers. WHY?????? 😭😭 She did go to the toilet this morning but then had a massive meltdown about washing her hands. Anyone else experienced their toddler doing better at nursery than at home? They told me it’s usually the other way around and this morning at drop off they told me she loves washing her hands there. Wtaf 🤯🤦🏻‍♀️ I have to be on top of her constantly for her cues to be able to get on her on the toilet in time so feel like I can’t leave her to play alone for more than a few mins. Wish I’d started sooner, it really doesn’t help she’s now in the depths of being a threenager 😫 Anyone else in the same boat? I’m also dealing with a one year old who doesn’t sleep and is awaiting surgery to remove his adenoids and I’ve just returned to work, I feel done 😭

Probably not what you want to hear but keep her in knickers and don't give in my daughter was exactly the same she would go happily at the child minders amd be dry all day then at home she would just wee in her knickers and wasn't even bothered about being wet! It took us 6 months to fully get there but if you don't stick to knickers and put nappies on she will just go back to being miss stubborn! Can't be easy with having another plus trying to work aswell! As for hands mine is hit and miss same with wiping after the toilet i just have to keep on at her some days she will do it no problem other days the soap bottle flies across the room 🤣 threenagers can be absolutely vile sometimes God help us when they grow into teenagers xx

@Jodie infuriating isn’t it, I just keep wondering what they’re doing a nursery that I’m not here but it’s nothing, she just wants to be a madam 🤦🏻‍♀️ you’re right, I just need to strap in for the long haul of the mess 😭 bring on summer, at least then she can pee in the garden and not over my furniture. Did your little girl just switch one day and start using it? x

The only difference i could work out was her friends were doing potty training at the same time so she wanted to do it with them where as at home she didn't have anyone to impress lol yeah it literally just changed 1 day she can still sometimes be a bit lazy or leaves it to the last minute but she did get there in the end I was so scared to take her out without a nappy but she actually did really well at that bit! Yeah defo easier when they can wee on the grass 🤣🤣 she will get there i promise xx
