Suspected CMPA
Hi ladies , my boy and I got our 6 week check up this afternoon with the Dr so I’ll question it then.
What did you ladies notice with babe when they had CMPA?
My boy is really bunged up, he’s pooing atleast 7 times in a 24hr period and it’s looser and has mucous in it, he’s got a pimply rash on his face and chest, he’s really gassy from the bottom and yeah I’m at my whitts end I just want him to be okay and fed up of getting brushed off and told he’d grow out of it.

My son has all of these symptoms too! Out of curiosity did the dr think it was CMPA?
@Natalie Yes she did but he’s also got bronchiolitis too so currently at hospital but he got a prescription for Aptamil pepti x

Unfortunately no. They are both on Neocate as they can't tolerate any dairy when little. However, my first, who is now 16 months old, can tolerate all dairy but neat raw cows milk. The dietician at the hospital told me you'll know within 2 weeks if any improvement. My first had blood in her stools from aptamil pepti, but tolerated nutramigen (prescription was changed due to supply issues). My second couldn't tolerate either of them. X
