Moody baby

Convinced I have the worlds most moodiest baby! He's forever grumpy and frustrated no matter what we do. He seems so disassociated and bored all the time. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with him because I've never seen a baby so grumpy😭 it makes me question whether I'm doing something wrong or not doing enough. It doesn't help that I don't have any family around so he's only ever with me. Maybe he's just bored of being around me 24/7. I'm not sure what to do

You are not alone. My baby boy is 9 months and has been ‘moody’ since he was 3 months. He whines all day every day. Sometimes we go half an hour without a whinge and I think he’s broken 🤣 We’ve recently moved back home (military family) and that seems to have helped a little but understand that’s not reasonable for everyone. All you can do is keep going and know it will end. We find getting our little man out the house helps the most. Come rain or shine we go on walks 3 times a day as he loves it and seems to keep him happier after as well. We also use Ms Apple in the last half an hour of a wake window for our sanity. There is no shame if you need to use a screen every now and then. It’s so draining and feels like you’re not gaining anything from it but you are a great mum for even noticing he’s whining and worrying about it so you’re not doing ANYTHING wrong. Maybe even go to a coffee shop to give him a new surrounding or the supermarket? I know it’s nerve wracking because

You think people will judge but they won’t and even if it’s get overwhelming you can just leave! You don’t have to buy anything, just a free museum for him 🤣 You got this Mama xx

Mine was super whiney when trying to learn to crawl, he also hates being in the house all day so we constantly go out and do different baby classes!

@Maya thank you! We do go out for walks but only once a day. I've had to stop going to baby classes as I can't afford it anymore so just looking for some free alternatives
