i was about to say the same as Natalie has said above. i tried to potty train at around a year & a half & it was hard! i stopped, tried again the beginning of this month & she’s now potty trained (she’ll be 3 in August) but she was showing signs, going in my nieces potty, saying the had done a wee / poo, etc. if LO isn’t ready it will i’ll just make the process harder. there will be accidents regardless but if LO is showing signs it’ll be that little bit easier x
Okay thank you both Only really asking as he recently started pulling aT his nappy when we’re getting him changed and he’s found and is playing with his pits I wasn’t sure if they were signs or not xx
Start changing diaper in the bathroom every time, so they start recognizing that pee and poop should go there and as they start feeling uncomfortable with wearing wet or dirty nappies they may start to pull you to the bathroom over time as they recognize it.
Wait until they show signs of being ready. If not there are loads of accidents and can cause them to hold etc
