Planned csection and tubes tied
Hello I want to know how many people have had success requesting a planned csection and their tubes tied or hysterectomy, I asked about it today at my midwife appointment and she said I'm unlikely to be successful because I'm 27, I have 2 children already that are high dependent special needs I want this 3rd baby that I've already had tested for any abnormalities to be my last and I just feel like I'm talking to a brick wall, all they're suggesting is my partner get a vasectomy but I also suffer with horrific periods and large cysts on my ovaries and him getting the snip won't help that

I'd keep pushing. Maybe call your GP or call the hospital that your going too and ask what they suggest x
I’m pregnant with my 3rd at 29 and I said on my first appointment that I want them tied. They’ve agreed to do it without questioning me, just let me know the risks involved with it. When I was pregnant the 2nd time they said they wouldn’t offer it incase I wanted another. I would just ask at your consultant appointment! X

I had my tubes cut in my second c section in October. I asked for a planned c section and then when I had my consultant call I just asked them for my tubes to cut. But older but I was only 32.
