My 20 months old is an August baby. We had a small get-together with family. On his actual birthday, we got one of those large cupcakes that look like a mini cake. We celebrated that weekend with family, and the theme was one sweet baby. So we made a mini ice cream with simple goodies like candy and cookies from the dollar tree.

So, I don’t know enough people with kids to do a party for my sons birthday 😫 😭 he’s turning 1 next month so I’ll just be taking him to the New York aquarium and buy him gifts 🤷🏽♀️ then a few weeks before his day we are going to do a professional photo shoot nothing too big.

My son’s birthday was on the 12th and we just had a get together a family and friends, and there was sandwiches chips and soda something very low-key but we did do a smash cake for him and I got cupcakes for everybody else I didn’t feel like they’re needed to be a giant grand cake because I’m not cutting a giant cake😂😂 The gifts we mostly got were books, clothes for him, and some of my friends pitched in for a gift card for my partner, and I to go out on a date and celebrate one year of parenting !
