Not sure about the boiling water but I wash everyone’s clothes with All Free & Clear
My daughter also has a security blanket it comes EVERYWHERE 😂 she has gotten better about not being it in the store for quick trips or the her cousins baseball games but it is always in the car waiting
I would soak it in vinegar water. If use warm water but not necessarily boiling. Only certain fabrics will do ok with that. We use Clean People's Baby Detergent for our toddler's laundry but their regular detergent is totally clear of all chemicals as well, so either one works. They're strips, so less plastic/microplastic contamination too, which is helpful if he likes to chew on his blanket!
Thanks mamas for all the tips! Update: poured some baking soda on his “lovey’s”, boiled water in the kettle and added some vinegar. Let it soak for a bit and threw it in the wash. It turned out soooo clean! I’m gonna have to do this with some towels 😂
We have been using our regular detergent for a while now for our son's clothes and haven't had any issues. I would try switching lol
