I went there before. I go by what the dr says and not what a third party says.
My scan read similar but it wasn’t a change in due date, it was just saying based on babies size he was average size for someone a few weeks further along, and he was large for someone with his actual due date. They usually only estimate due date at 12 week dating scan as scans after that can be a lot more inaccurate.
The measurements can be way off atp honestly especially if this isn’t a prescribed growth ultrasound. Your provider should be looking at fundal height as well. Ultrasound can be off by a lb
They never change the date. My baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead at my Last scan and they won’t move it because the 8 week scan dating is what they use. On the bright side maybe your baby will come early? 🫣
@Dory I hope he does!! Him being in the 95 percentile really scares me😂😂
They will not change it because the dating scan at the beginning of pregnancy is the most accurate. My son was measuring 4 weeks ahead at 36 weeks and they wouldn't change mine. He ended up coming at 39 weeks 4 days and was 10lbs. I chose an elective c section because his head was also measuring 8 weeks ahead.
