We are on aptamil anti reflux which is a thicker formula aswell. My baby was doing the exact same and we have been prescribed gaviscon and it has made some difference too x
What is the aptamil anti reflux like?
@Utku did she made noises after being fed?
@Ella with both of my kids i started with normal aptamil but they just seemed still hungry every time the bottle finished. Because the anti reflux is a thicker feed i feel like it helps them stay fuller a little longer
@Natala Always! Even with the gaviscon he's still making grunting noises while feeding too but dr advised after every 30ml burp baby. I see the difference after his bottles his alot more settled and sleeps bit better. It worth pushing the drs for gaviscon and try out as they are expensive per box.
So I am still on normal aptamil with her now and with the gaviscon it’s really helping her x
My baby was being sick after each feed, uncomfortable and searching for food after each feed due to bringing it up after. The GP has given some thickener to put in bottles and so far baby is being sick less. The GP said to me they recommend reducing feed to be smaller and more often, trial thickener and if that doesn't work to try the baby gaviscon. Maybe ask your GP to review?
I had the exact same thing with my daughter. She was taking like 5oz which was so much. Then always wanting more food. I switched to the hungry baby and it didn’t make no difference, just her not being well. Like pooing continuously and bad belly ache. I took her gp yesterday and they gave us gaviscon infant and fingers crossed since then she has been a lot better. Hope this helps xx
