I used a cozy and safe 360 one, my lg used it from 6 months. It's an iso fix with a back tether x
We also have the Joie 360 ispin, it's a great seat!
Next step after the infant carrier is a toddler seat (in the US they are called convertible seats), you just want something that can stay rear facing as long as possible. While it may be legal to forward face at 2 years old or earlier, it is scientifically safest to rear face as long as possible. Look for a toddler seat with the highest possible rear facing limits so your LO can rear face until one of the limits is outgrown. For reference, my 5 year old still rear faces in my husband's car and my 2.25 year old is still rear facing in both cars.
@Abbie from this picture, she doesn’t look too long for the seat. I can’t tell what it looks like at the top because the shade is partially covering it, but it looks like she’s still well within the seat? What’s her length and what’s the maximum length for the seat? My LO turned 2 in December and we just changed her seat last month, she still hadn’t reached the height limit but she looked a bit too squashed for my liking. Might be best to leave her in this seat for a little while longer before moving to the toddler seats recommended above because they don’t provide enough head support for an infant IMO
My girl is 6 months and we have the joie ispin 360 we’ve had it a few months now as my partner got into a crash so didn’t see the point of buying another infant one when it wasn’t gonna be used for that much longer! The joie can be used from birth we love it! Xx
