Best stroller for holiday

I've been looking at the Silver Cross Jet as it says it's the only approved stroller for cabin luggage. Has anyone had experience with this stroller, or can anyone let me know of a cheaper alternative. Will be flying RyanAir and EasyJet

Im sure you can take pretty much anything and then keep it with you until boarding, then it will get put in the hold. Then obviously given back to you when you get off x

We took our Silvercross Clic & it went in the overhead baggage. That was with Jet2, unsure about Ryanair and EasyJet! We also said it was cabin approved and wasn’t questioned.

I took a cabin approved with Ryanair and they told me it has to go under anyway. So basically you can take it up to the gate and then they put it under

@Charlie ahh ok, then when do you get it back? When you get off or at baggage?

@Molly ahh ok, unfortunately I think RyanAir are pretty strict with what goes on the plane 😕

I think it depends where you go on whether they can give it back at the steps of the aircraft or in baggage. Tbf, they tagged the pram when boarding but once we got to the plane there was no one there to take it so my husband threw it over his shoulder (it had a strap) and just put it in the overhead. The person on the plane didn't look/check, it was only the people are the check in desk that were CERTAIN we couldn't take it on.

@Charlie oh nice haha fair enough, which stroller did you take? And would you recommend it?

I borrowed a Joolzair+ from a friend, which is on the spenny side but I really liked it tbf

@Charlie ah yes that is a pretty expensive one, might have a look on Vinted though 😊 ok great thanks

I've looked of Facebook but nothing around me unfortunately! I'm flying again in June and I've decided just to take a normal stroller because you can still take them up to the aircraft before they are stowed
