Transvaginal xxx

Could be abdominal. I booked one for 7 weeks and didn’t want a vaginal one. The place I went to would always try abdominal first and if you didn’t want vaginal they’d just rebook you x

Transvaginal, didn’t get abdominal until 10-12 weeks

@Skye thank you this makes me feel a bit better. After recurrent miscarriages I told the midwife I don't want a transvaginal scan (only because I started miscarrying the day I had them done but could've been a coincidence) so I'm hoping she chose to do later than 6 weeks for this reason x

@Natalia oh really! With one of my kids I had one done at bang on 9 weeks I just wasn't sure how early they done it x

Yeah haha one pregnancy I was 10 weeks when I finally got seen so that was abdominal right off the bat

Whenever I’ve had early scans for my pregnancies, they started off abdominal (even at 7 weeks) and if they couldn’t see what they wanted to in detail, they’d ask for my permission to do transvaginal x
