Sorry, I mean the baby and toddler shows that happen around the country showing prams and baby products…. have just never been to one before… so just wondering, despite them being baby and toddlers shows…. Are they really just aimed at pregnant women or those with young babies?
I personally wouldn’t bother. I went to one with my newborn a few years ago and thought it was a bit naff even for babies never mind toddlers. You’ll find better discounts on everything online and it was all very salesy and pushy (only today blah blah) which I hate. They also try to convince you that you absolutely need all kinds of crap which you don’t but a lot of ftm (myself included at the time) are naive and buy into it. There’s nothing really suited towards children actually being there really so your toddler would just have to walk around endless stalls and probably be really bored
@Amy Thankyou. I think you’ve just confirmed all the suspicions I had about it. Can definitely do something better with our time instead. Just felt like I’d missed out by having never gone to one…. But maybe there’s a reason I’ve never gone. Thanks for your frank honesty 👍🏻
It’s just a load of over-priced prams and stuff you don’t really need for sale. Would be super boring for a toddler!
That’s what I was concerned about. I was just sort of tempted by the free tickets thing. But really I hate that sort of thing. So it helps to have my thoughts confirmed.
I went when I was pregnant and it was a fun day out. I wouldn’t bother going with a toddler they will be bored stiff and also as a now parent you probably know all the gear you need/don’t need
What shows do you mean? We took are 2 year old to see hey duggee live and she loved it, we booked bluey big play last year but couldn't make it. We went to Disney on ice last month and again she loved it
