Regurgitation
Baby is 12 weeks. I combination feed him. This morning I breastfed him then gave a top up of formula feed (100 ml), after some time he vomited it and took some of milk out through his nose also. What to do? Also does anyone use gripe water?

Yes gripe water is amazing ! I use mommy’s bliss from target or you can order on Amazon too! It’s helped my gassy baby soothe his stomach .
Totally normal. Like Alana mentioned...over fed him and he threw up. Potentially also too fast of milk flow. I wouldn't waste money on gripe water until you've tried something else like not over feeding. Also try burping after every 20-30ml as this forces them to slow down.. takes about 10 mins for their brain to catch up to their stomach.
Gripe water doesn't do jack lol, but it sounds like over feeding. Try pace feeding with him 💗

That just means you over fed him. Also milk out the nose is normal it can depend on positioning with that at times. Keep his head elevated and don’t lay him down so soon after feeding. Just be sure to suction his nose because it can be leftover milk. I’d say combo feeding is breastfeeding & formula but not given at the same time. During different feeding sessions so he was defintely over fed or not burped in between feeding. Formula is beyond thicker then breastmilk and they say that too. That’s why formula babies go longer with sleeping even in the beginning, they’re every 3-4 hours Vs breastfed baby is every 1-3 hours.
