I'm wondering the same thing, mine haven't started yet and my little boy is almost 9 months 🙈 dreading it!

They can yes. If you're BF enough the hormones stop your period. And if irregular then perhaps once you get to a certain stage of weaning they will return. Some don't get it at all until fully stop BF

So I EBF and my little one has slept through the night minimum of 6 hours up to 8/9 hours without feeding from 9 weeks old.My period suddenly came back last month and I was gutted 😂 I did some reading and it’s likely that my prolactin levels dropped due to not feeding her during the night. Anyway she then hit the 4 month sleep regression and wakes 2-3 times per night for feeds (which she’s never done since newborn 😂) and my period never turned up this month! No…I’m not pregnant lol. But my prolactin likely increased due to night feeds so I figure that’s why.
