I have my NHS scan on Tuesday and I'll be 8+3 so it's helpful to see this. Really hope my baby is ok xx

@Abbi I'm having it early because my midwife isn't sure on my dates as she thinks I'm around 12 and my app says I'm 8 weeks tomorrow

I remember when I saw my little girl for the first time on the screen my first thought was "OMG it's a human" 😂 my first words after she was born was "WTF" 😂 no one can ever prepare you for any of the becoming a parent stuff and every day they grow and develop you are shocked and excited and couldn't be more proud. My little girl is 1 on Sunday and I'm 6 weeks with baby no. 2
@Ebony hahah don’t we say the strangest things! 🤣 when my little girl was born the first thing I said was “omg she is actually a girl” cause I had a fear all throughout my pregnancy that they had got it wrong 🤣awww congratulations! Hope your second pregnancy goes well 🤍🤍
@Tinashe we’re not doing anything extravagant, we’ve wrote her a little card with a scan photo inside. But the card is from baby. So we will read that to her. It’s the little things that they love the most! X x

This is so crazy, that you spell your name the same as me, I'm also 8+1, I also have a toddler and I am also freaking out about fluctuating symptoms 🤣🤣 my scan is a week tomorrow, too long!!!
@Abbi haha! Hey! I don’t meet many Abbi’s with the same spelling! Awww! I really hope your scan goes well! Isn’t it crazy we’ve been through this before yet we still worry about every little thing xx
@Zoe 8wks and 12wks, that's a big disparity! The doctors and midwives always think I'm a week further than I am, but that's because they date it by 1st day of last period and base it on a 28 day cycle. I know I ovulate on day 21, so it was fun to get my dating scan at 8wks showing I was right You probably know better than they do😉

We told our 2yr old and she doesn't seem to fully understand. At least, she doesn't seem excited, but she has become clingier
@Taryn as long as baby is growing and has a heartbeat I don't mind lol I'm so anxious
@Taryn aww bless her, yes she might be too young to really understand! My little girl is 4 next month and has been asking for a baby brother or sister (sister mainly) 🤣🤣🤣 so she will be so excited x

@Pamela you can take as many tests as you like to see that positive but nothing prepares you for seeing them for the first time whether that's on the screen or in person. I first few weeks of my little girls life I honestly kept forgetting that she was here 🤦♀️🤣 she's 1 tomorrow and doing so well. So even if you got get you have a tiny human to look after in about 9 months time you're still doing well ❤️
@Ebony oh Ebony I really want to but as I’ve suffered a miscarriage I don’t want to be concentrating too much on am I still pregnant. I choose to believe I am fully pregnant and this pregnancy will be successful in every way (except for the morning sickness) 🩷💙🩷
@Ebony I must admit I feel a lot more pregnant this time round. I’m a 41 yr old first time mama so I’m trying to fill myself with positive thoughts and beliefs 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️♥️
@Pamela I've not had any symptoms this time around. Other than sneezing fits and headaches but no sickness or anything like I had with my little girl. I'm just trusting the tests I have already taken
Aww Abbi, I am getting an early scan too, they are giving me a scan on the 5th May, I will be 7 weeks. I feel once you get to see everything on the screen you definitely must feel a lot better about it. 🩷🩷
@Zoe I was using a couple of different apps, they all had different due dates but I asked google one time and I gave the date of my last period rather than my conception date and it went from December 21 to October 🤯🤯🤯 I just go with the nhs badger app for my dates lol it’s less stressful 🤣🩷🩷🩷
