Cradle Cap

My little one who is 14 weeks seems to have gained some really bad cradle cap over the last week. Some places look really sore and almost if it’s bleeding I’ve tried baby oil and baby shampoo and a soft brush to try and help, but I think it’s only made it worse. Has anyone any suggestions on creams or how to treat it?

Are you breastfeeding? Bathing baby in breastmilk will do wonders.

The mustela foam shampoo with the Freida cradle cap sponge/thingy has worked for me. It comes with a nit comb looking thing which lifts the bits that are loosened and it’s so satisfying.

@Daniela I didn’t even think of this! Thank you

@Helen ohh amazing thank you!

Coconut oil worked wonders for us and thays with both my boys,

I used the mustela cradle cap cream and it worked so quickly!

Have you tried the Frida mom cradle cap brush/comb kit? This and the dentinox oil worked really well on my boy x

My little girl had cradle cap really bad and we used the dentinox oil and within 2 uses, it was gone x

Colief baby scalp oil 15min before bath time, I usually have a bit of breast milk in her bath water to use to wash the hair and it’s seemed much more settled after doing this twice!

@Mel✨ hey hun, where did you buy your dentinox? Online it’s showing as discontinued I really want to try as a lot of people said it works

@Alyxsa hey! I bought it recently from boots 😊x

Mustella foam shampoo worked really well for us. I didn’t use the comb part I just used a soft brush lightly after the bath x

@Alyxsa sorry to jump on but I get this in places like Tesco or asdas xx

@Kas thank you

@Mel✨ thank you x
